Global Health Communications Intern
Sarah is a Global Health Communications Intern at the United Nations Foundation, where she assists the Global Health Team on their initiatives of strengthening their online platform. Sarah is currently working on a Master's in International Affairs and Diplomacy at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. For the past six years, Sarah has worked as a nurse specializing in critical care, oncology, and emergency medicine. She has bachelor’s degrees in Nursing, Communications, and International Relations. Previous to nursing she worked on multimedia communications projects with various organizations in Washington, D.C. Sarah was a Peace Corps volunteer in Rwanda, working as an educator, while also helping to promote health initiatives that included malaria and HIV prevention, nutrition, and reproductive health.
