Daniel Hayden

Daniel Hayden is committed to improving the results of social impact organizations by designing and managing systems that increase stakeholder trust. Since June 2016, Daniel has served as the Senior Director of Business Operations at the Digital Impact Alliance. Before joining the Digital Impact Alliance, he advised the United Nations Environment Programme in the design global campaigns to reduce marine litter and trade in illegal wildlife.

Previously, Daniel was Senior Director of Global Programs at the international conservation NGO, Rare. His role integrated program development, performance management and impact reporting processes. He has published on the role of performance management in improving NGO effectiveness, co-led the work of the Conservation Measures Partnership in integrating human wellbeing into conservation projects and the role of marketing in promoting behavioral change. He has also conducted strategy and operations consulting with the firms MarketBridge, Oliver Wyman and the Corporate Executive Board.

Daniel earned his A.B. degree cum laude from Hamilton College in History and Economics and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is married and has a son and a daughter. He also serves of the Board of the Washington Literacy Center.
