Associate Vice President, Communications Partnerships and Engagement
Chrysula Winegar is Associate Vice President, Communications Partnerships and Engagement at the United Nations Foundation. She serves as the head of communications in the New York office and leads the partnerships and engagement, and global events teams.
Previously, she founded Wake Up World Communications, a digital communications agency focused on social action campaigns for various organizations including the United Nations Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Fox Searchlight/Malala Fund, EngenderHealth, Family Planning 2020, and Teach for America.
Prior, Chrysula worked in a variety of marketing communications, partnerships and organizational change roles in London, Sydney, and New York – including Ernst & Young, Estee Lauder Companies, and the Australian Export Finance and Insurance Corporation.
She holds a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of London (Birkbeck) and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Queensland. She participates in several nonprofit boards in the arts and education arenas, including the Marketing Advisory Board of the BYU Marriott School of Business.
