Senior Director, Communications and Special Initiatives
Chrysula Winegar is Senior Director, Communications and Special Initiatives at the United Nations Foundation. She leads the New York office communications, partnerships and engagement and global events teams.
Previously, she founded Wake Up World Communications, a digital communications agency focused on social action campaigns for the United Nations Foundation, Fox Searchlight, EngenderHealth, Family Planning 2020 and many others.
Prior, Chrysula worked in a variety of marketing communications roles around the world with organizations like Ernst & Young, Estee Lauder Companies, and the Australian Export Finance and Insurance Corporation.
She holds a B. Economics from the University of Queensland and M.Sc Organizational Behavior from the University of London (Birkbeck).
