Angus leads work shaping the United Nations Foundation’s brand identity, as well as delivering world-class impact campaigns. A deep believer in the power of creativity, and a professional in the field of Branding, Marketing & Campaigns, he has enjoyed a 17-year career shaping brands and campaigns spanning the private, philanthropic, and public sectors.
After a decade in the creative marketing and advertising industry working on some of the world’s largest and most iconic brands, Angus took the leap into working for something he truly believes in: the United Nations. In the seven years to follow at UNICEF’s Headquarters in New York, he executed global brand, advocacy, and fundraising campaigns alongside popular culture icons and organizations, including the re-branding of UNICEF throughout 193 countries and the viral installation Backpack Graveyard on the lawn of UN Headquarters.
Angus was deployed to over fifteen countries around the world capturing stories and content, and has co-led flagship events with world leaders, Goodwill Ambassadors, industry titans, and youth champions at the United Nations General Assembly for six consecutive years.
Angus has been personally thanked by UN leaders for his contributions of creativity to furthering the mission of the United Nations and was recognized by AdAge as the 2020 global ‘Brand Manager of the Year’.
In 2021, Angus took up a Head of Brand & Marketing role in private philanthropy at the Minderoo Foundation, where he led the Plastic Forest campaign in Paris and the audacious anti-vaping campaign UNCLOUD, as well as co-wrote and produced the world’s most popular TED talk of 2021, Molly’s TED Talk.
From 2024 to 2025, he had the honor of serving as senior advisor to visionary Australian philanthropist, Nicola Forrest AO.
Angus holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
