Every year, GivingTuesday unites the world in generosity. Now, during the pandemic, we need solidarity more than ever. That is why GivingTuesday partners are coming together on May 5 for #GivingTuesdayNow – an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
There’s never been a more urgent time to support a strong global response. The World Health Organization (WHO) is leading the fight against COVID-19, ensuring all countries can prevent, detect, and respond to the pandemic, especially where needs are greatest.

Already, WHO has sent more than 2 million pieces of personal protective equipment – including masks, gloves, and overalls – to more than 75 countries, and 1.5m testing kits to 120 countries. But the world needs more to keep the frontline safe.
