Sevilla, Spain
The Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) is a timely opportunity to advance long-sought financial architecture reforms and to push for investment in the Sustainable Development Goals. Government leaders, international and regional organizations, civil society, other stakeholders, and the UN system will come together for this unique moment. FfD4 takes place June 30 to July 3, 2025, in Sevilla, Spain.
It’s clear: the global financial system is broken. Low and lower-middle income countries are being buried in unsustainable debt, which is undermining other priorities like education, health, and infrastructure while increasing vulnerability to fiscal shocks.
A transparent and inclusive intergovernmental process that gives every country a voice is an important step toward closing gaps and inequities in access to financing, and righting historic wrongs. With fiscal pressures and uncertainty deepening globally, there’s high urgency for leaders to deliver an ambitious, politically feasible outcome at FfD4.
Leaders at FfD4 will also focus on key action areas:
June 28-29, 2025
The forum will bring together activists, civil society organizations, networks, federations, and social movements for two days of deep discussion and engaging dialogue ahead of FfD4.
June 30 – July 3, 2025
The FfD4 Conference program is ambitious, and includes a robust lineup of side and special events in addition to the official program.
June 30 – July 3, 2025
Held alongside FfD4, the Forum will bring global business leaders together with government leaders to catalyze the private finance and investments needed for sustainable development.
Whether you’re an organization or an individual, there are several ways to get involved in FfD4.
