Jordan: Refugee Rights, Health & Energy

The Universal Access Project (UAP) hosted a press fellowship to Zaatari in Jordan — then the world’s largest refugee camp — to learn how humanitarian agencies like UNFPA and UNHCR are providing essential health services for people in need. While there, journalists had the opportunity to interview UN and government officials, as well as local families, and learn about efforts to improve education and infrastructure at the camp, including the introduction of solar power.
