Recently published by Springer Nature, the Science Panel for the Congo Basin’s Assessment Report provides a scientific evidence base to inform policy, strengthen regional cooperation, guide strategic investments, and highlight the Congo Basin’s importance for the Earth system and sustainable development agendas. The event will feature keynote presentations from lead report authors, followed by a roundtable discussion exploring how independent scientific evidence can raise awareness of the global significance of the Congo Basin and inform investment, conservation, climate action, and sustainable development.
