On the margins of UNGA 80, this panel discussion will focus on unpacking the global clean cooking transition. Hosted in partnership with the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, it will spotlight the use of ethanol as a clean cooking fuel, and explore topics such as the removal of tariff barriers, the development and adoption of ethanol fuel standards at regional and national levels, and the vital role of policy reform and cross-sector collaboration. By fostering dialogue on scalable and inclusive strategies, the event seeks to accelerate progress toward universal access to clean cooking, while advancing broader health, environmental, and development objectives.
