This event will showcase NCDSim, a new Swedish simulation tool that illustrates how lifestyle factors impact the development of two major noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) — cardiovascular disease and cancer. It aims to inspire data-driven public health action to help meet the global target of reducing premature deaths caused by NCDs. A high-level panel of experts and policymakers will explore the topic from Swedish, European, and global perspectives, and share their priorities ahead of the upcoming UN High-level Meeting on NCDs and Mental Health.
