Improving access to prevention, early detection and treatment of cervical cancer in times of the COVID Pandemic

This side event will highlight progress achieved in implementing the WHO strategy (EB150/7: WHO NCD report) despite the COVID pandemic related challenges. The side event will also point out gaps in health systems preparedness to deliver cervical cancer prevention and management to all women in need and how these gaps can be overcome by concerted actions of national governments, UN civil society and medical professional organizations.
