High-Level Meeting to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the 4th World Conference on Women
Pursuant to resolution A/RES/79/288, the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations convened a High-Level Conference on the 30th Anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women on 22 September 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The theme of the meeting focused on “Recommitting to, resourcing and accelerating the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.”
