High Level Meeting for International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons

This High-level plenary meeting of the General Assembly will commemorate and promote the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. In accordance with General Assembly resolution 68/32 and subsequent resolutions, the purpose of this observance is to further enhancing public awareness and education about the threat nuclear weapons pose to humanity.
