Call to Action on Antimicrobial Resistance

The UN Foundation will co-host a second global event, to help drive pioneering action to stop the rise and spread of superbugs. The two-day Call to Action, taking place in Accra, Ghana is co-hosted with the Wellcome Trust, the governments of Ghana and Thailand, in partnership with the Inter-Agency Coordination Group (IACG) on Antimicrobial Resistance. Health representatives from national governments and agencies, civil society, the private sector and global philanthropies will be invited to come together at the Call to Action to focus on how to address the most critical gaps in tackling the development and spread of drug-resistant infections.
