This event is part of a series of roundtables at the third Council on Energy, Environment, and Water Leaders’ Dialogue at COP 30. This session will analyze how solutions to build resilient urban infrastructure for habitation, mobility, utilities, commercial zones, and public commons can meet today’s challenges such as heat, urban flooding, congestion, and pollution. UN Foundation’s Senior Advisor on Climate Adaptation and Resilience, Cristina Rumbaitis del Rio, will highlight the need to invest in infrastructure resilience and the negotiations underway, and the relevance of the Global Goal on Adaptation.
