On September 24, the Foreign Policy program at Brookings will host a panel discussion with Thomas Wright, director of the Center of the U.S. and Europe at Brookings, Rebecca Katz, professor and director of the Center for Global Health Science and Security at Georgetown University Medical Center, and David Miliband, former U.K. foreign secretary and president and CEO of the International Rescue Committee, moderated by New Yorker staff writer Susan Glasser. This event is part of the Brookings – Robert Bosch Foundation Transatlantic Initiative, which aims to build up and expand resilient networks and trans-Atlantic activities to analyze and work on issues concerning trans-Atlantic relations and social cohesion in Europe and the United States.
