This side event aims at contributing to the ongoing dialogue about the need to put gender equality and women’s rights at the center of the UN reform and the implementation of Our Common Agenda.
The Alliance for Feminist Movements will be launched in the context of UNGA 77 to bring together national governments, philanthropic organizations, women’s funds, feminist organizations and international organizations.
The new HeForShe Alliance will host its first Summit, which will convene Prime Ministers and Presidents, global CEOs, civil society, thought leaders and celebrities in a critical dialogue focused on male action and allyship to advance gender equality.
The World Woman Future Forum at UNGA 77 will call for action to solve the global challenges ranging from lack of equal opportunity, gender disparities in healthcare, and underrepresentation in STEM.
The event will gather WD2023 partners, sponsors, advisors, including government representatives, the private sector, civil society, WD Young Leaders, and UN agencies participating in UNGA, in which we will share key updates on WD2023 Conference’s program, objectives, and commitments.
Co-sponsored by the Government of France, Women in Global Health, Last Mile Health and the Community Health Impact Coalition, this 90-minute virtual event will bring together key partners working to increase gender equity in the community health workforce.
Organized on the sidelines of UNGA, this event will bring together country representatives, gender equality advocates, development data experts, and philanthropic institutions.
This event will celebrate some of the Action Coalition’s achievements and highlight opportunities to join forces in the year to come around key milestones such as the 67th Commission on the Status of Women, the Women Deliver Conference, and the Global Digital Compact.
The event will share the report’s findings and feature a high-level discussion on countries’ successes and challenges in addressing gender pay gaps.
