Right about now is when a lot of New Year’s resolutions go by the wayside. In fact, one survey found that 35% of resolutions are broken by the end of January.

But this year, there is one resolution we can’t afford to break: our global resolve to act in 2015 for a better world.

This year is big. World leaders are working with the United Nations on two important agreements: one on climate change and one of the next set of global goals to tackle poverty, inequality, health, environmental degradation, and other challenges.

To get the change we need, leaders must know that we are paying attention to what happens – and that we are invested in their success. Translating the 2015 agreements from words into real change will require every country, every sector, and every community.

Tell the world we need to act in 2015. Share this graphic with your friends, family, and social networks so they know what’s going on in 2015 and why they need to get involved. You can also learn more and join the action/2015 movement for people and the planet at action2015.org.

The stakes are high this year – and so are the opportunities. As UN Foundation President and CEO Kathy Calvin says, “If we act, 2015 can be the year we put the world on the path to end extreme poverty; the year we place sustainability at the heart of our future; and the year we agree that every person should be able to lead a life of dignity and opportunity.”
