A journalist by trade, Vaila Finch is currently interning for the Foundation’s public affairs team. She spent eight years in France working in international news at the Agence-France Presse news agency, France 24 television and French radio station RFI. Vaila also battled giant ants, potholes and intermittent phone networks in Central Africa to edit a bilingual magazine promoting the country of Gabon as part of a public-private partnership. Vaila gained her undergraduate degree in English Literature and French from Leeds University and is now studying for an MA in International Relations at Leicester University.
