Stephanie Oula is the Director for Generation Equality engagement for the Girls and Women team at the United Nations Foundation, where she leads gender policy advocacy and convenes networks of women leaders and male allies. Previously, she was a Senior Program Officer with Data2X, where she managed the Women’s Financial Inclusion Data Partnership and work on gender monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals. Her prior experience as a gender consultant for international non-governmental organizations included advising on partnerships, organizational gender strategies, high-level engagement, and advocacy around adolescent girls. From 2014-2015, she managed the Girl Declaration Joint Advocacy Group, which worked to ensure that adolescent girls’ voices, needs, and rights were included in the Sustainable Development Goals. Stephanie received her Master of Science in Gender, Development and Globalisation from the London School of Economics and her Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University.
