Maria Jolly is the Environmental Health Associate at the Clean Cooking Alliance. Having lived and worked in India and Peru, she has experienced indoor air pollution from inefficient cookstoves and fuels firsthand. She is working to refine and maintain the knowledge management processes and databases, disseminate health research findings, develop communication materials, and collaborate with Alliance partners on various projects. Maria has 4+ years of work experience with environmental and public health research, policy, communication, and program management. Prior to joining the Alliance, Maria was an ORISE Fellow at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She holds an MSPH in Environmental Health and Epidemiology from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. Maria is proficient in Spanish, and knows basic Malayalam.
