Maureen joined the UN Foundation in 2011 as an Online Communications Officer. Born and raised in New Jersey, Maureen ventured south to North Carolina where she studied Communications at Elon University. She then worked for RAINN, Rape, Abuse null; Incest National Network, where she managed and developed the website, social media strategies and email marketing campaigns to help prevent sexual violence and help victims. Since starting at UN Foundation, Maureen has taken on the role of overseeing unfoundation.org, supporter email campaigns, and UN Foundation's blog, Global Connections. Fun fact: Maureen is an avid fan of Super Bowl XLVI Champions the New York Giants!
