Alice Zhang

Alice Zhang was formerly the Communications Officer for the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign, where she oversaw the campaign’s communications strategy, creative asset development, and digital and social media marketing focused on championing equitable access to lifesaving vaccines for children around the world. Prior to joining the Foundation, she led media relations and content strategy for Food for the Hungry, a faith-based international relief and development organization, and worked on communications campaigns for Silicon Valley technology startups and Fortune 500 companies. As a global citizen, Alice’s work has included co-directing a social entrepreneurship center serving women and Venezuelan refugees in Peru, serving as a legal advocate for migrant children that arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border, and editing microfinance loan profiles with Kiva.org to help expand access to financial services in underserved communities around the world. With a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Alice has worked in newsrooms in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco and writes extensively on conscious living, sustainability, and social impact.
