Vice President for People and Culture
Sasha Alleyne is the Vice President, People & Culture, at the United Nations Foundation. In her role she leads all aspects of the Foundation’s Human Resources strategy and works collaboratively with leaders across the organization in driving people strategy, resource planning, and alignment with needs and culture in order to attract, recruit, retain, and develop the exceptional talent necessary to achieve UN Foundation’s vision, mission, and goals.
Sasha has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration Management and has managed organizations with multiple locations, locally and internationally, supporting over 500 employees. Sasha previously worked at America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), a national association whose members provide coverage and health services that improve and protect the health and financial security of consumers, families, businesses, and the nation. There, Sasha was responsible for aligning the workforce with AHIP’s objectives and serving as an employee champion and change agent by assessing and anticipating HR needs.
Prior to AHIP, Sasha worked for Service Employees International Union (SEIU), an organization with over 2 million members. Sasha was responsible for the oversight of the HR functions including labor relations, diversity, equity and inclusion, compensation, and staff development.
Sasha holds an M.S. in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, PA, and a B.A. in Business Administration from Marymount University, VA.
