Sasha Alleyne

Executive Director, People and Culture

Sasha Alleyne is the Executive Director, People & Culture, at the United Nations Foundation. In her role, in conjunction with the Chief People Officer, she oversees the full cycle of People & Culture to include guidance and counseling on any human resources issues, including but not limited to employee relations matters, compensation, and training.

Sasha has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration Management and has managed organizations with multiple locations locally and internationally supporting over 500 employees.  Sasha previously worked at America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), a national association who members provide coverage and health services that improve and protect the health and financial security of consumers, families, businesses and the nation.  There, Sasha was responsible for aligning the workforce with AHIP’s objectives and serving as an employee champion and change agent by assessing and anticipating HR needs.  Prior to AHIP, Sasha worked for Services Employees International Union (SEIU), an organization with over 2 million members Sasha was responsible for the oversight of the HR functions to include labor relations, diversity, equity and inclusion, compensation and staff development.

Sasha holds a M.S. in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, PA and a B.A. in Business Administration from Marymount University, VA.
