Since the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015, U.S. communities have made this global framework a local agenda. The pandemic has shown us that the SDGs are more critical than ever, including in the U.S. Meeting the SDGs requires dedicated action from all sectors, and this is happening across the country. Local governments, businesses, students, and foundations are bringing the SDGs home by implementing the SDGs in their communities.
At the UN Foundation, we’re committed to supporting this cross-sector engagement and furthering this important work by inspiring, activating, and supporting voices across America as we push toward sustainability and equity for all.
We are excited to work on American Leadership on the SDGs, in partnership with the Center for Sustainable Development at the Brookings Institution. We ask leaders and influencers like you to join us by sharing these stories of American innovation and action, and adding your own voice to this important conversation.
