During the COVID-19 pandemic, the UN Foundation hosted a virtual press fellowship that offered 10 journalists exclusive access to high-level UN and government officials, health experts, vaccine scientists, activists, and policymakers on the sidelines of the 75th UN General Assembly in New York. In a series of wide-ranging sessions the journalists dove into the latest science and UN-led response to COVID-19, as well as the knock-on effects of the pandemic on everything from global hunger to girls and women.
