The UN Foundation and International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) hosted a workshop for student journalists called “The World in 2030” that offered unparalleled access to UN global experts and policymakers as well as visits to top local newsrooms, including NPR, National Geographic, and the Washington Post. Held at the UN Foundation’s D.C. headquarters, students attended high-level briefings, interviewed global experts and contributed to interactive roundtable discussions on topics including U.S.-U.N. relations, global climate and development and U.S. action on the U.N’s sustainable development agenda for 2030.
