Together with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), the UN Foundation hosted nine journalists in South Africa and Mozambique to report on maternal and child health. The fellows were in Johannesburg during The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Conference, where they were able to interview health experts from around the world on the challenges and opportunities facing the field. The program also included site visits to remote villages, clinics, and schools to speak with women, children, and health professionals about the issues they face.
