The UN Foundation hosted a group of journalists in Durban, South Africa for the 2016 Global AIDS Conference, hosted by UNAIDS. The conference focused on urgent action to scale up prevention programs and reduce new HIV infections and AIDS deaths among adolescents, especially adolescent girls and young women in Africa, who remain disproportionately affected by HIV.
