The Universal Access Project hosted a group of journalists at the 2018 International Conference on Family Planning in Kigali, where they met with UN officials, government leaders, health practitioners, and other experts. The conference’s theme, “Investing for a Lifetime of Returns,” focused on the extensive and far-reaching social and economic dividends that family planning investments yield. The fellowship included local site visits to hear firsthand from health workers and the community members they serve.
