Haiti: Health & Migration

In 2015, the Universal Access Project (UAP) hosted a group of journalists to Haiti to explore the challenges facing health care, particularly among women and girls. In close coordination with UNFPA and other UN agencies, USAID, government ministries and other partners with in-country expertise, the fellowship offered direct access to health workers, health experts and government officials, as well as the opportunity to observe family planning campaigns, youth-related programming, and maternal health initiatives.
