Ghana: Data & the SDGs

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD) hosted a group of journalists in Ghana to report on the Africa Regional Data Cube, a new tool that harnesses the latest Earth observation and satellite technology, to address certain SDG-related challenges. Journalists had access to expert briefings and field trips to explore how data and technology are being used to drive progress and improve life for Ghanaians, with a focus on issues such as environmental protection, equality and inclusion, and maternal health. Journalists also attended a satellite data training with NASA.
