The Universal Access Project (UAP) hosted a delegation of seven U.S. journalists at the 2019 Women Deliver conference in Vancouver with the goal of generating media coverage on global gender equality, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights. Journalists from outlets including: NBC News, CNN, Quartz, Vice, Marie Claire, and freelancers for NPR, The Washington Post’s The Lily, and Foreign Policy, had the opportunity to hear from and engage with global gender equality and reproductive health experts, advocates, policymakers, researchers, and more through conference programming, one-on-one interviews, and exclusive briefings.
