United Nations Foundation Welcomes Mark Dybul as Executive Director of Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

United Nations Foundation Chief Executive Officer Kathy Calvin welcomed today the announcement of Ambassador Mark Dybul as the Executive Director of Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

American support for the Global Fund has been strong under both Republican and Democratic Administrations. This support stems from the Global Fund’s track record of delivering real results and the prevention of millions of deaths from AIDS, malaria and TB.

Like any institution, the Global Fund needs to constantly challenge itself to be more efficient, transparent and effective. Given Ambassador’s Dybul record of success at PEPFAR, we are confident that he will be able to further improve the management of the Global Fund so this vitally important institution continues to merit American support.
