On July 13, the UN Foundation, WHO, ILO, and the governments of Canada, Costa Rica, and Luxembourg will co-host an HLPF side-event to launch the report of the largest sectoral gender pay gap study ever produced: The gender pay gap in the health and care sector: a global analysis in the time of COVID-19. The event will be moderated by Sofia Borges, Senior Vice President of the UN Foundation.
In addition to sharing the report’s findings, the event will feature a high-level discussion on countries’ successes and challenges in addressing gender pay gaps. The event will be livestreamed on UN Web TV. A reception will follow the main program for those attending in person.
