Launch of the Framework on the Prevention of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV)

The Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, through the UN Action against Sexual Violence in Conflict (UN Action) Network, has developed a first of its kind guide, the Framework on the Prevention of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence. The purpose of the Framework is to assist all relevant stakeholders to improve and expand programmatic efforts to better prevent CRSV. It is intended to be a “road map” to address prevention efforts.

To launch the Framework, the Office and UN Action will be hosting an event on the margins of the 77th General Assembly.
