This event is hosted by the governments of Colombia and Denmark, in partnership with Gehl Architects and Novo Nordisk A/S.
Against the backdrop of the 2021 UN Food System Summit, this roundtable will provide an opportunity to discuss experiences and learnings on promoting healthy diets globally through city planning and an understanding of modern urban food environments. The discussion will be informed by a number of Foodscape-analyses conducted in Bogotá and Houston. In addition, there will be discussion of food through the lenses of access, health and carbon, and how community-based action can simultaneously improve food security, the environment and health by changing to an accessible, healthy, and sustainable diet.
