On the margins of the 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, Microsoft, GZero and the UN Foundation held a high-level event and reception on the opportunities and challenges for women in the era of AI. The event focused on two key areas: preparing women for the AI workforce and safeguarding women’s fundamental rights online. The event brought together leaders in the private sector, governments, and civil society and foundations, in two panel discussions to share insights, experiences, and perspectives on advancing gender equality through AI and emerging technologies.
