New data from LinkedIn finds that in the transition from STEM degrees to STEM employment, the largest drop-off occurs between graduation and the first year of employment, with a ten-percentage point widening of the gender STEM gap. This roundtable event will gather high-level representatives from the private sector, government, civil society, the UN, and youth representatives to discuss these findings as well as actionable policies and practices to bridge the gender gap in STEM careers.
