On behalf of Cure, in collaboration with Bayer, we invite you to an exclusive roundtable discussion on the critical role of self-care in addressing global health challenges. This event will be held during the UN General Assembly Science Summit at Cure.
We will explore how self-care, defined by WHO as “the ability of individuals, families, and communities to promote health, prevent disease, and maintain health and to cope with illness and disability,” can be a powerful tool for advancing health equity. This fundamental right is key to enhancing the health of underserved communities. We will examine the issues of overcoming barriers, accessing resources, and facilitating the integration of self-care practices into the global health agenda.
