Since 2015, data has grown fivefold, flooding from satellites, social media, and telecoms. In the panel ‘Data-Informed Policymaking: A catalyst for the SDGs’, speakers from UNDP, the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, the UN Office for South-South Cooperation, and Amazon Web Services will discuss how governments, in collaboration with the private sector and the UN, can use new data sources to accelerate SDG progress. The event will also see the public launch of Data to Navigator tool and the Data to Policy Network for Policymakers. By registration only.
