In celebration of the strides made at the Generation Equality Forum and ahead of the 76th UN General Assembly, the Action Coalitions Secretariat is hosting a Virtual Town Hall meeting to reflect on our collective gains across the Action Coalitions, and dialogue on the way forward for the coming five years.
The Town Hall meeting represents an opportunity to:
– Reconvene Action Coalition Leaders and commitment makers to reflect on the accomplishments of the Generation Equality Forum
– Share recent developments and next steps for the design of a robust and inclusively co-created Accountability Framework
– Galvanize forward momentum for the launch of an ambitious work plan and roadmap for the coming five years, including discussion on how to address governance, working methods, accountability and commitments ahead
The Action Coalitions September Town Hall meeting is taking place on both Wednesday 15 September from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and Thursday 16 September from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm (New York time). The Town Hall will be the same on both days, to suit different different time zones. Interpretations in English, Spanish, French, Russian and Arabic, closed captioning and sign languages will be provided.
