Amid the Ebola outbreak and continuing threats to peace and security around the world, a new poll released yesterday by our sister organization, the Better World Campaign, finds that a majority of Americans agree that working through the United Nations is essential to addressing the toughest challenges facing our world today.
The survey, which was released just two days shy of UN Day, made two things clear:
1. Significant majorities of Republicans, Independents and Democrats agree that it is essential for the U.S. to remain actively engaged in the United Nations.
2. Americans overwhelmingly believe the United Nations has an important role to serve in resolving the Ebola outbreak.
As the attention of the U.S. and the rest of the world remains focused on the Ebola outbreak, help us spread the word that people like you believe in the importance of a strong U.S.-UN partnership to address this and other global crises.
