Tara Bracken is the Senior Malaria Advocacy and Communications Officer for the United Nations Foundation. As a former biomedical researcher studying malaria in pregnant women and children, Tara is passionate about expanding access to programs that ensure no family loses a child to a preventable disease like malaria. She also has years of advocacy and communications experience, working to connect audiences to complex scientific topics and engage them to act in support of basic research and global health programs. Through her work at the UN Foundation and with global partners, Tara aims to help ensure everyone has access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live.
