Martha Rebour joined the UN Foundation in June 2014. As Director of the UN Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign, she serves as the lead for campaign strategy and implementation, external partner relations, and fundraising activities. Prior to joining the Foundation, Martha worked for 15 years in strategic branding, digital and social media marketing, messaging, creative development, partnership building and consumer research for corporate and nonprofit organizations. While at Discovery Channel Martha crafted multi-million dollar marketing campaigns around events such as the 20th Anniversary of Shark Week and the award-winning, BBC co-produced series LIFE. More recently, Martha ran her own marketing firm, MBR Marketing where she directed strategic planning and marketing for clients such as the IDB (InterAmerican Development Bank), Ogilvy Public Relations, National Geographic, PBS, and the Institute for Conservation Leadership. She received her Master’s degree in French from New York University and taught French at Sidwell Friends School at the beginning of her career. Martha is passionate about healthy living and she received a degree in Holistic Nutrition from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In her spare time Martha enjoys cooking, reading contemporary fiction, and spending time traveling and being outside with her family.
