We employ rigorous accounting standards and financial controls to effectively steward the more than $2 billion entrusted to us by our Chairman, partners, and donors since our founding. Our financial stewardship efforts have led to 20 consecutive years of clean financial audits and the highest rating of four stars from independent evaluator Charity Navigator.
We have an excellent track record of using our funds efficiently. In 2018, 87 cents of every dollar we received and spent went directly to support UN programs and causes.
UN Foundation upholds the highest standards of governance in how we carry out our work. Read our Good Governance policies here.
In 2017, the UN Foundation joined the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), a voluntary, multi-stakeholder initiative that seeks to improve the transparency of aid, development, and humanitarian resources.
