The United Nations Secretariat has issued a Global Call for Nominations for the positions of Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) and Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (DRSG) in the United Nations peace operations.
The Global Call initiative aims to increase and diversify the pool of potential candidates for SRSG and DSRSG positions, including with a view to advancing gender parity and geographical diversity at the United Nations senior leadership level.
The call is open for nominations until September 30, 2019.
