United to Beat Malaria

United to Beat Malaria (previously Nothing But Nets) is a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness, funds, and voices to fight malaria. In 2006, sports columnist Rick Reilly wrote a column in Sports Illustrated challenging each of his readers to donate at least $10 to send insecticide-treated bed nets to protect families from malaria-carrying mosquitoes. Since 2006, we’ve helped protect over 39 million people from malaria across 57 countries and raised over $75 million in the fight to end malaria. Our malaria projects continue to prioritize young children and mothers, pregnant women, refugees and internally-displaced persons, hard-to-reach communities with little to no healthcare access, and frontline health workers who fight malaria in these communities.
