Elise Glaum joined the UN Foundation in September 2011 as an Online Communications Associate for the Shot@Life campaign. Prior to UNF, she worked for The Cadmus Group, Inc. where she developed communication plans, social media strategies and email marketing campaigns for community-based public health programs to support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agencynull;s Indoor Environments Division. Born and raised in the DC Metro Area, Elise attended Virginia Tech and graduated with a BA degree in Communication and minors in English and Marketing. A major health nut, Elise is passionate about public health and aspires to create communications campaigns that get heard around the world in order to support break-through change in healthcare. She enjoys running null; marathons, watching Hokie football, and traveling.
