#EyeOnClimate

Share the Solutions You see

Every day, we read bad news about the climate crisis and the health of our planet. It’s easy to forget that solutions do exist in every region of the world. And some of the best solutions for the planet are from the planet.

We’re challenging photographers and changemakers to spotlight solutions from nature and share them with the world on Instagram through the #EyeOnClimate campaign.

WHY?

Recent reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the world’s leading body of climate scientists, show that we must change our relationship with nature before it’s too late. But too often, we focus only on the problems. We have solutions — and we need to see them in order to use them.

That’s why we’re teaming up with Salesforce and challenging global photographers and citizens to document solutions from nature in the lead up to COP25 in December, the next moment when world leaders will come together to address the climate crisis. While we need a wide range of actions to tackle the climate challenge, solutions from nature offer multiple benefits. Protecting and restoring nature supports ecosystems, communities and climate action. See these solutions from across the globe in the #EyeOnClimate Global Feed below and learn more about them here.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

  1. Photograph a solution from nature — whether it’s planting trees, safeguarding species from bears to bees, protecting important habitats like coral reefs, changing the way we farm, and more.
  2. Write a caption from your perspective, explaining where the solution is and why it matters. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #EyeOnClimate.
  3. From now until COP25 in December, the next major moment for climate action, share your photos on Instagram.
  4. Check back to this webpage to see #EyeOnClimate solutions and get resources to advocate for climate action.
